What's new in HyperSnap 10?
Your familiar screenshot tools now come with a way to show what happens between screenshots. Record a task, polish the MP4, and share the steps. HyperSnap 10 also makes captured text easier to work with.
What the upgrade adds
Edit the MP4 in HyperSnap
Cut mistakes and pauses, combine clips or selected segments, add timed annotations with the familiar shape tools, and export a new MP4. The editor also opens other MP4 files, not only recordings made in HyperSnap. See the video editor.
Do more with captured text
OCR results open as editable text inside HyperSnap instead of Notepad. Recent updates can use Windows UI Automation text when available to enhance OCR accuracy and offer plain text or rich text with formatting, plus a preview with common editing tools.
Also new in version 10: a command to resize a window to a specific size, plus support for 32-bit TWAIN scanners. Read the full release history for fixes and smaller updates.
Is HyperSnap 10 right for your setup?
Upgrading from HyperSnap 9? Video recording and editing are the biggest additions; the OCR workflow has improved too. If you're on HyperSnap 8 or earlier, you'll also gain the screen OCR introduced in version 9.
HyperSnap 10 runs on Windows 10 and 11. You can try all its features before buying. Unlicensed copies stamp captured or processed images; OCR remains usable without a time or usage limit.
