scanner resolution question

I have an Epson XP-830 multifunction device.  According to another application, both TWAIN and WIA drivers are installed.  Hypersnap only shows it as WIA.   It works fine but only lets me scan at 100 or 300 dpi.  My other applications let me scan at several resolutions and I usually use 600 or 1200.    I can get by using another application to scan and importing the file but it sure would be convenient to just scan it in Hypersnap.  Any suggestions?

thanks

Whatever HyperSnap shows (drivers, resolutions) comes from the installed drivers, the app does not change or reject anything. However, if you are using 32-bit version of HyperSnap and the better drivers are 64-bit drivers, HyperSnap in 32 bit version cannot use 64-bit drivers. Similarly if you are using a 64-bit version of HyperSnap (check under Help/About menu of HyperSnap), but the other drivers are 32-bit, it again cannot use them. You can download and install either version of HyperSnap from our web site (or install both, to separate folders) and test.
