@Voice starts speaking when snoozing the alarm.

  1. Have @Voice paused. Have an alarm set. Have the screen locked.
  2. When the alarm is triggered, press the snooze button.
  3. @Voice starts speaking, unbidden. If no headphones are plugged in, it can get loud.
  4. Frantically try to unlock the phone to pause @Voice again. Afterwards realize you could have used the headphone controls to pause. Being wide awake, resign yourself to resume listening to the audio.
Expected behavior: @Voice should remain paused then it was not playing before the alarm.

Phone: Samsung S9
Android version: 9.0
Alarm app: Samsung Clock 7.0.04
@Voice version: 6.3.11

    Thank you for your post, I had a few complains that @Voice started speaking by itself, but could never reproduce this problem on any of my devices. The information that it happens after snoozing an alarm is new to me, so I'll test that way. One sure way to prevent this would be to use the "Exit" function on @Voice menu, or the X button at top-right of @Voice notification, to close the app completely. It could not then "unpause" itself in any way, it would not be running at all.

    Still could not reproduce it, set an alarm for 1 minute, turned off screen, @Voice was paused. Alarm sounded, snoozed it, nothing happens...
    Maybe you have the option to "Start/stop speech on horizontal shakes" turned on? It's under Settings - Speech settings - START tab. Taking the phone to snooze alarm could accidentally be recognized as a shake to start speech?

    Here are my settings:

    I can't seem to reproduce this using a short alarm. But it has happened every morning the past two weeks.

    Thanks for the tip about closing the popup. I will try to remember this in the future.

    Thank you, I'll try testing it by setting a longer alarm. If you could, please tell me what was the last thing you do with the phone and @Voice app, before putting it away and it started playing on alarm. E.g. did you set the alarm, set for 6 a.m., then you listened to an ebook or other text (what kind? PDF, DOC, HTML, web pages from reading list?), then you paused reading (how? with a button you your wired? or Bluetooth? headset?, or by pressing something on the screen?) Etc. All the details may be important for reproducing the problem and finding the cure.
