Avoid reading aloud the web links in @Voice app

UPDATE: the speech replacement similar to the one below was added to the standard replacements in @Voice now, you don't need to add it manually anymore. I'm leaving this article just as another example of what can be done with RegEx replacements.
 
Web links, like http://something.com/blah... can be easily suppressed from reading aloud using @Voice app "Edit speech" feature. To access it in @Voice, press menu - Settings - Edit speech. Then follow this procedure:

• Press the "+" button on top to add a new speech replacement.
• In "Type" field select "Regular Expression (RegEx)"
• In the "Pattern" field type or copy and paste exactly this:
  
  (([\w-]+://?|www[.])[^\s()<>]+(?:\([\w\d]+\)|([^[:punct:]\s]|/)))
  
  
• Leave the "Replace" field empty, so that nothing will be said when the matching pattern (a link) will be encountered, or if you want, enter some word, e.g. if the program should say "link" instead, so just enter the word link
• Press the Back button on your device to hide the keyboard, then press "Save" button at the bottom. Return to your text and enjoy listening without hearing the references.
