Resize to contain text

For a few weeks now I have not been able to get the Resize to contain text to work properly. That and the background on the text box is now black. The text box resizes much bigger instead of what it should. Could you please help?

I'm not sure why "resize to contain" would not work. Testing it here, works fine, no matter what I try... Maybe if you would use "Save CFG" button on the Setup ribbon tab to save your configuration, and email me that file, I could reproduce the problem and find some solution.

As for the background color, click the "Frame" tab when editing text, then press the little down pointing triangle next to the "Background color" button, and select some other color you want... You may also make the background transparent or not with the check-box next to it, but the transparency is valid directly on the image only, so if your edit box in "Edit text" window is still black, change the background color anyway, even if it is transparent when the text is drawn on the image.
