RENAME from within HSnap?  [/style]
This function is very very useful, I use this everytime everyday.
Try "OPENCAPTURE" program I using now because RENAME function.
I rename filename very often when changes thinking.
In the editing process, Changes occur very often.

The following information written down by other users. I agree this one.

3. do a combined "save/save-as/rename", so that the image gets edited, and then saved as the NEW RENAMED image, and the ORIGINAL name gets deleted. it would be actually a "save-as edited new name and Delete original" combination.
it could be a NEW button called "save New image and Delete Original" - OR, "SNIDO"  !!! (any better acronym is appreciated. This way, it is a one-step operation from within hypersnap, and not going to the original folder, etc, etc, etc

Hm. OK, will try to add something like this to the next release. Maybe just a check-box to "Delete original file: [original file name listed here]" on File/Save As dialog box?
