Hotkey control

HyperSnap uses a lot of hotkeys, so I usually leave it in hotkey-off mode to avoid conflicts with whatever else I'm running, Activating when required.

Would it make sense for the Screen Capture Hot Keys to have each key with a checkbox beside it, so you can leave individual hotkeys as previously chosen, but switched on or off as needed and to fit with other programs?  And, for such a screen to come up with unavailable hotkeys greyed out?

    Hello rjbull,
individual activation of a kind is possible with HS 7. You can decide for every shortcut, it it is active, even if HS is minimized. Means: HS 7 window open - hotkeys work, HS 7 window minimized - hotkeys don't work.

You can also configure hot keys, make keys act as "hot" thouout the system or not etc. Click "Hot Keys" button on the "Capture" ribbon tab. Then go through all the commands under "Category and Command" header (the 1st line there is category, keep it "Capture". Then, for example, if you highlight "Active Window without Frame" you can see "Current Keys" to the right, and at the bottom a check-box described as "Make this a hot key...". Un-check this if you don't want this, or you may also delete this key combination completely, assign a different one etc.
