Sorry I only now got to this thread. I think I'll better remove the "clipboard" button from the text edit box, as it causes confusion. The button only inserts %clip% macro, to be replaced by the current text in the clipobard whenever a text box display is updated. Someone requested this macro to work on HyperSnap command line, and I thought it could be just as well present on the text edit box.
To insert the current contents of the clipboard - paste text copied from elsewhere, as always, use Shift+Insert keys or Ctrl+V.

Hi Martin,
thanks for the seasons greetings.
HS 7 is now capable of capturing itself. HS 6 was only by starting another instance of the program.
Go to Capture Settings - Capture and deactivate Hide HS window before capturing.
Now you can capture HS as well.
Go to the textsnap settings and check, if entries Unformatted Text and Formatted text (rtf) are activated.
The second entry should give you formatted text in the HS window and clipboard as well.
The third entry must be disabled, as it provides good results by capturing tables, but omits the formatting.
Have fun testing.

Hello

With Text region drawing tool:
Observation: Original text format is not kept when copying text from clipboard. Also it does not give me the possibility to modify the text siince only %clip% appear in the text box entry tool

I did copy a text from a either Word or MS Notes. Line Feed are omitted.
Difficult to show a picture since Hypersnap does not take picture of himself ( a bit shy maybe...:))
