You can install and use both HyperSnap 7 and 8 on the same machine, and uninstall HyperSnap 7 later or keep it indefinitely. However, do not try to install version 8 to the same folder where v7 was installed. The installer will not even let it install that way, as there could be technical difficulties.

I am about to upgrade to version 8. Do I need to uninstall HyperSnap 7 before installing version 8, or can I simply install it over 7? I looked for an answer to this in the forum and in the FAQs, but I didn't find anything except info about installing one version of 8 over an earlier version of 8.
