reading speed is broken

The reading speed is the same from 0.25X to 2.00X (I guess it's always reading at 1X)
I like to read at 1.50X and that's not possible right now

    It’s a bug in the recent update to Google TTS engine, app name “Speech Services by Google”. It seems that if you uninstall all updates to Speech Services by Google app, reboot phone, update it back, the problem goes away.
