Sleep Timer

Thank you for the long awaited smart sleep timer function.
There is a bug: when you stop manually the sleep timer starts the reading again and the only way to stop is to quit the app.
It happens less frequently with low sensitivity to shake but it's not a solution, it happens even if the phone stands still.
If stopped manually the sleep timer should be unable to restart reading.
Also the decrease of volume before sleep timer is too subtle. hard to notice.
Another good feature would be to be able to choose all the buttons on the toolbar.
Thanks for the great job.

    Hi,
I cannot reproduce this problem on my phones or emulators. Could you please reboot your phone, then open Android system settings - Apps - find and press @Voice Aloud Reader app, then press on Storage - Clear cache. Then try again. Does the problem still happen? Please let me know.

If it still happens, please update the app to the latest version found on this web site, which is most often ahead of what is in Google Play, and I made some fixes in the timer code too. The link to download my latest builds is on this page:

Please let me know if the problem still happens with this latest version. Thank you!

It works better but still if I put the shake sensitivity to high when you manually stop the shaking makes it restart.
Manual stop should disable restart by shake right ?
Samsung S9 latest update if that matters.

Looks like currently shaking the device restarts reading with the timer set. I could modify the code to prevent this, but it does not seem to be too bad. I set the shake sensitivity to 11 on my Pixel 6 Pro, and normal moving of the phone does nothing, but rigorous shaking restarts the timer and speech. Will see, if more people complain about auto-starting of speech, I can change this.

As you wish. However it should be easy and it makes sense logically: I stop it manually so I don't want to restart when shaking.
It makes sense also practically: I am on the bed I set a medium high sensitivity. Then I get up and when I want to stop the reading I cannot because there are always shakes when walking/standing !

OK, I modified the code to correct this. The change will be in @Voice version 25.4.5 or any later. It will be available first on this web site on https://hyperionics.com/atVoice/ page. Later, probably sometime in February 2022 it will appear in Google Play store. Google is recently very, very slow in approving new version submissions to Google Play.
