save Crop and Scale configuration settings?

The ability vary Crop and Scale settings is invaluable (another great function of HyperSnap!)  To make it a bit more useful is there a way that I can save the Crop and Scale settings configuration settings. Whenever I start up the system I have to remember to go into the settings panel and check the "Scale Image" checkbox (the setting are already there but the box is not checked). This certainly is not a fault of HyperSnap, just my aging mental state I guess. Is there a way to start up each time with the box checked through a Configuration savings function?

Thanks for any help you can offer.

To have the options that auto-modify captured images, such as Crop & Scale on Capture Settings tab, please exit HyperSnap 8 completely pressing File menu - Exit. Then right-click the shortcut you use to start HyperSnap 8 (the desktop icon or pinned taskbar icon, whatever) and select Properties from the menu that appears. Next click into edit box next to "Target:" label, press the End key on the keyboard to move the text cursor to the very end of text filed (behind the closing double-quote, if present there). Type one space, followed by:

    -ra

It's called "command line option" and I named it "ra" for "Restore Advanced options". Now start HyperSnap 8, setup crop and scale they way you need it. The program should remember these options even when you exit it, and start again with the same modified shortcut.

    Hello,

I've used this method before on previous computers. Just got a new windows 10 (Enterprise) computer and adding "-ra" is not working this time. I get the following message: "The Name 'C:\Program Files\HyperSnap 8.exe -ra' specified in the Target box is not valid. Make sure the path and the file name are correct."

Is there something else i need to do?
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Margie

Please note that when you open shortcut properties window and look into the Target field, the program path is enclosed in "double quotes" characters, like:

    "C:\Program Files\HyperSnap 8.exe"

if you want to add to it a command line option, like -ra, it must be included _after_ the closing double quote character, not before it. Modify the Target field so that is contains exactly this:

    "C:\Program Files\HyperSnap 8.exe" -ra

After the closing double-quote there must be one space, then -ra characters, not any other way...
