Avoiding pauses when using terms including dots like "Mrs."

In which language you are reading the text when this happens, and which TTS voice exactly are you using? Also look at the screen, double tap a sentence with "Mr." - does the yellow highlight end at the dot after Mr? Or does it continue to the true end of the sentence?

This is because I don't have a good dictionary of French abbreviations in @Voice app - the only abbreviations I have now for French are:

D.Sc.
Fr.
FR.
G.I.C.
M.
R.A.S.
Sc.D.
U.E.
U.L.M.
É.-U.
É.-U.A.
P.-V.
R.A.S.

I will add there Mr. and Mrs. and Ms. now, but maybe more should be added, I'm not that familiar with French language. The largest abbreviation dictionary I have in the app is for German language, which I don't know at all, but users reading in that language where bugging me to add more and more there...

You can make your own list of abbreviations: create text file named abbrev-fra.txt. Add to it abbreviations, one per line. When your abbrev-fra.txt is ready, you need to copy it inside @Voice app home directory - into the sub-folder named .config there. Note that any file or directory which name starts with a dot, like .config, is considered a "hidden" file or directory. You'll need a good file explorer app that can optionally show hidden files and folders (like ES File Explorer from Google Play) to copy your abbrev-fra.txt there.
 
RegEx can be also used in abbrev-???.txt files, just add a star * character in front of a RegEx, for example in English abbreviations I have:
 
*U\.\s*\.*\s*A\.
 
which will match "U.S.A." and "U. S. A.", or another example:
 
*(?i)no\.\s*[0-9]+
 
will match "No. 7" or "no. 23" - the (?i) makes it to ignore case - but will not match simple "No." or "no." which is not followed by one or more digits.
