Folder

It would be great if HyperSnap would remember and suggest the most-recently saved-in folder as the folder to save a new image in.

This is a fine software package but it's irritating to have to navigate to our preferred folder every time.

If you use HyperSnap on Windows 10 (maybe older too, don't remember), in the top-left corner of File/Open for File/Save dialog boxes there is "Quick access" icon (blue star), which you may click to see "Frequent folders", maybe that would help.

Another way to open quickly files files from a folder is to open that folder in Windows Explorer (you may have a desktop icon to that folder too), then drag pictures from that folder on HyperSnap window to open them. Also dragging the picture from HyperSnap thumbnails bar to the folder will save them, usually as PNG files.

Otherwise, HyperSnap remembers the folder from which you last opened a file, or to which you last saved, and offers it as the default for the next File/Open or File/Save operation. Not sure what else I could do...
