[BUG] Newlines and paragraphs are replaced by whitespace when copying text

When copying selected text from an article in @Voice, the text in the clipboard won't preserve newlines and paragraphs.
 
Thus copying a text like this:
 

Sample Headline

Sample paragraph.
Containing a newline.

Another paragraph.

 
will result in this clipboard content:
 

Sample Headline Sample paragraph. Containing a newline. Another paragraph.

 
The same behaviour applies when using sharing feature after marking text across paragraphs.
 
When converting to plaintext, <br/> tags should just be replaced by single newlines and <p>[...</p>] tags should each be followed by two newlines.
 
(My current version of the @Voice Android app is 15.2.3 on Android OS 7.1.2)

I wasn't clear enough that I'm referring to text that's already loaded in the @Voice app. So I'm not trying to copy text into the app but out of it.
 
Here's an example: I shared the URL of an article from an RSS reader with @Voice, then paused the TTS reading at some point and selected and copied a passage of interest (not really, just for demonstration):

In the copied clipboard the paragraphs that I marked aren't divided by newlines anymore.
 
Of course an immediate workaround would be to open the URL in a regular browser and copy the text from there, or to edit the clipboard text to reinstate the newline characters, so this isn't a huge issue. It still would be practical if this was fixed in @Voice.
