EU Cookie Law

Hi,

Due to the EU Cookie Law many websites present a cookie warning page when you access these the first time. when I share an article to @Voice Aloud I end up in this page instead of the article itself.

you can try it for youself with the dutch website www.nu.nl jus read any article, share it to @Voice Aloud and you wil get the cookie page instead of the article.

Please advise.

Unfortunately I cannot reproduce this. I did see the cookie notice at the top of screen when I opened these articles in a web browser, but when I sent them to @Voice app using Share function, or copied the link and pasted it into @Voice app, I got only the correct text of the articles themselves.

If possible, please email me the exact links to the articles you have problems with. It could be also that I'm getting these pages differently, being located in the USA, but I'll check this again, maybe using some VPN server, when I get the actual links that cause this trouble. It could be for example that the actual article text is much shorter than the cookie notice, so @Voice is mistaking the notice for the real article...

This link results in a cookie page.

Thank you, this time and using this link, I got the cookie page too in @Voice. Here is what you can do about it:

When you see the cookie page for a new web site, which you did not visited in @Voice before, press the "Reload or clear" button on top (circular arrows), then select "Load from browser..." from the menu that appears. The page opens in a more "normal" browser window with the cookie warning. Press the button to "Accept cookies" there, then the loudspeaker button at bottom right. You should get the text of the article now. Next time you paste or share a link from the same web site, you should no longer see the cookie warning in @Voice, just normal article text.
