Request feature: about the TTS editing

Hi Greg

Yesterday I use a software of my own to find all the word that start with [A-Z] but was not at the begining of a sentence, to find a list of name and place in book. (Work still in progress ^^)

After I created a txt file with all of the word and correct a lot of them.
I use @voice for that but it was a lot of actions and input to be done :

I have to click on top then click parameter then move down the screen to see the right menu then click to add then select regex (or case sensitive) then write the word and at last I can start correcting.
But you know already how your software works ^^

My question is can we have a simplier way to do so ?
1) can the menu "modify TTS" be add to have acess in the rigth top corner ? (more usefull for me than modify text or tutorial and there is still some place on the screen)
2) can you remember what is the last mode use (regex, case, not case) ?
3) can we have the word select directly copy into patern ? It is already copy in the test box.
4) can you add a 3rd button to listen to the pattern to listen the word as the TTS voice read it without modification ? (it can be useful if you have a lot of modification and some have a too big patern, or simply to compare with the replace field when your trying to find how to find it )

I know it's a lot of work ^^

Thanks

I'll consider all these changes and will try to remember to implement at least some of them. Probably the easiest to implement is to remember the last replacement mode. I'll give this request priority if other users also post here support for it.

    Thanks Greg.

The last mode in memory is probably quite easy.

The most useful for me is the add of "edit" on this screen.

Because meaby is only in french but it is not on the first screen on the menu. we have to scroll down of one element at least.
And for me the editition mode is the most usefull of all the feature in this software.

    Hi Greg.

Sorry to resurect my own post.
Almost a year without read a book with @voice.
I'm back to read French book again. That mean a lot of editing, and a lot of clic on menu.
Do to new phone or update for you, menu is a little easier to use (no scroll down), but we need still a lot of on screen clic to add a new correction.

Could you consider to add in the menu, "Edit pronunciation" next to "Edit text" ?

btw, I never use "Edit text" in fact because all the modification i done is for pronunciation only.

     PLease

Doing much pronunciation editing is not a good idea, in my opinion. If you don't like the way the current TTS voice pronounces many words, rather change the voice itself, instead of editing words. There are many French voices that can be downloaded or purchased form Google Play.

In @Voice app there is a better shortcut to go to editing a word in Speech edit - long press a word in the text, then when it gets selected, press the menu button (3 vertical dots) in the popup toolbar, then press "Edit speech" in the menu that appears.

Change Voice will not help for Sci-Fi Name ;-)

The new way to edit is very good. Many thanks to finding the previous edit rather than just create a new.
    Good job.
