PASTING AS IN VERSION 6

Hello, I just moved from Version 6 to Version 8.
Unfortunately, a feature I used extensively does not seem to be available anymore (or I don't know how to make it work).
If I do a Ctrl+C on an image (or just part of it) in a snap and do a Ctrl+V in another snap, it is pasted in the upper left corner (this can be changed and it can move to other parts of the screen as well, but this doesn't help me).
My problem is that I can't drag this pasted image to another place of my liking before it's merged with the main snap. This used to be default behavior in version 6. Is there any way to re-enable it.
Thank yo

Maybe you switched the drawing editor in HyperSnap 8 from the default mode (Shape editing) to the "Draw directly on image" mode. The toggle button of this is on the Edit ribbon tab, in the "Drawing tools" section, the first (left-most) button there in the 3rd row. Hold the mouse over it to read the description, should show "Drawing mode toggle". Switch it so that the graphics shows some red curved shape _above_ a page. Then paste something, you can drag it as much as you want. If you click outside of the pasted part, the last paste gets deselected (the handles around it disappear), click it again - it gets selected again, drag etc.
