Strange overflow behavior

Hi. I'm remember worked with Hypersnap (I don't remember what version) on 2007 with the text snap functionality.
I could get some data from an app really fine (on that time I used XP).

Now I'm trying to do the same on Win7 64 and WinXP (running on a Virtual Machine) and doesnt works.
The process that I use is "Text snap region with autoscroll"

To clarify:
On WinXP (VM) with version 6: doesnt work more than 2 or 3 clicks.
On WinXP (VM) with version 7: doesnt work more than 2 or 3 clicks

On Win7 with version 7: doesnt work more than 2 or 3 clicks
And this is the best approach I get it:

Windows 7 HyperSnap 6:
It does the work but everytime stop at random time and when you get the results, only can be copied the same total of bytes, aprox 66kb. If you begin when you stop, again, only copies 66kb.

How can i solve this and/or what's the configuration to do work it?

Thanks and kind regards

I think capture with auto-scroll works or not depending on what you try to capture. If there is any animated contents inside the region you try to capture with auto-scrolling, it won't work, won't scroll correctly. Other than that I cannot comment without knowing exactly what you were trying to capture.
I'm going to stop supporting the TextSnap feature anyway, the Windows system and the programs running under it change so fast and so radically, that it is impossible to maintain this feature in a working condition.

I understand. I don't know if can i help you a little? I'm really interested on Text Snap because is a functionality that other software doesn't do, even Snag It (it does it very bad at all) I'm .net programmer.

On any case, I'm using 6.91.03 and Win7 64x

The program that I'm trying to read has only a large data in a "datagrid" control (It's a telephonic guide)

I really cannot help without having access to the same program and data to test it. You could try HyperSnap 7 to see if it will work better for that app, but I expect it would be the same.

Hello Nightwolf81,
you could try the following approach.
Activeate tab-delimited snap in the text snap options.
Try text snap region first, see if it works and you can insert the text in Excel or a similar program.
If not, deactivate it again, it sometimes can be tricky with autoscrolling

Next approach:
Use the normal region capture to get anything on the screen (within the drawn rectangle)
Scroll down until next non-snapped row is visible on top of the screen
Use the Ctrl-Shift-F11-key to repeat the last capture.
See, if the result is usable. By default text snap adds the new captured text below the previously captured.
And combine these tests with the tab-delimited-option in text snap settings.
Greg is right, text snap is very fickle, as MS and the Firefox developers changed code for the display of text on screen dramatically.
Oh, yes and TEST v7. It really may work better. Don't forget to install the FireFox-Addon.
