Hi,
The DHS active X viewer is not working. Is there a way of manually re-registering it somehow? I've tried uninstall/reinstall of HS 7.13.05, but it doesn't work (neither in Windows Explorer, nor Directory Opus). Windows Explorer Folder options >   "Never show icons, always thumbnails" is set on.

Please provide this additional data:
Exact HyperSnap version in use (from Help/About menu): 7.13.05
Windows version in use: Win 7 X64

Any updates on this? It's a bit of a blocker for me.

Will look into it this week. Sorry about this, somehow forgot about the issue.

Here is a temporary work-around to make the thumbnails work again, until the next release of HyperSnap 7 fixes it automatically:

1. Click Windows Start menu, "All Programs", then "Accessories".
2. Right-click "Command Prompt" and choose "Run as Administrator"
3. In the "Administrator: Command Prompt" window, change to the directory where HyperSnap 7 is installed. Most often the command to change there is:

cd "C:\Program Files (x86)\HyperSnap 7"

4. Once there, type another command and press Enter:

regsvr32 x64\ThumbDhs64.dll

5. That's all, close the Command Prompt window and the thumbnails of DHS files should be correct again.

Thanks Greg, worked a treat! I knew about regsrvr, but couldn't find which DLL needed re-registering.
Life is now peachy again!

Actually version 7.15 fixes this by registering again the DLLs automatically during the setup. Sorry about that bug in the earlier version!
