"Large" Toolbar Icons - They look BAD!

Is there anything you can do to improve the "Large" toolbar icons?  The artifacted/jagged look of the icons makes the application feel cheap and dated.  Additionally, for those folks that are visually impaired, the icons' are often difficult to interpret.  I have a feeling that the code is simply blowing up a small icon, rather than utilizing the proper size.

Sorry for the late answer. I was thinking what I could do about this - guess would have to re-design the code to load different images for large icons, plus design all the icons in the larger size. I'm still researching this topic to learn more how to do this. Probably I would consider doing it for the default ribbon interface, but not for the old style menu/toolbars. But again, need to learn more on what can I do within the existing code base and tools.

    Thanks Greg,

The "Classic" toolbar is worthy of consideration for an overhaul of the large icon set.  My son is visually impaired, yet was drawn to that familiar toolbar style option immediately.

Of course, the coding would be a chore for you, but perhaps the user community could help by providing icons that fit your specs.  I would certainly be happy to participate.

Are the classic icons accessible somewhere in the code, for reference?

Thank you, Wiley, I'll consider making the icons available, must to learn first more about the necessary changes in the code. I also tested today HyperSnap 7 with Microsoft Active Accessibility, which reads all the menu and toolbars, plus other controls, by voice for visually impared. I see that my current ribbon does not work with Active Accessibility, but the menu/toolbars version does work. So maybe it's also worth maintaining for that reason.
