erase a file from disk via HS thumbnails

Hi,

Is there any option to erase a file directly from within Hyspersnap, say via a thumbnail context menu command or something like that?

BTW is there any plugin to view .DHS format files in some image file viewer as e.g IrfanView, XNView etc?

Please provide this additional data:
Exact HyperSnap version in use (from Help/About menu): ______
Windows version in use: ______

At this time I don't have an erase command like this. You could however use the File/Explore function or Alt+X to open a Windows Explorer window on the folder where the current image is, and delete files there.
I'm still researching the issue of creating plug-ins for DHS file previews.

Could you please consider adding a such command?  Not a critical problem, however it would add usability a lot, specially till appear some image files manager with a proper plugin for .DHS files.

That's clear, thanks. But it is far not convenient...

Seems, that the most of my requests for new features are not able to win enough high position in Greg's to-do list... Well, I do really realize, that I'm not the only user of HyperSnap and these featured might not be important for most of other users. But from the other hand, it would be simple to implement them, say, add an additional entry to the thumbnail context menu. I'm quite sure, that many other user would appreciate such extending of thumbnails functionality.

Sorry about these delays. There is so much to do these days, new version of Windows to worry about... I still have your items on my list and maybe will implement some of them as time permits. Support from other users would prompt me to do this as well.

    Hi Greg!

How about adding "delete the image" command to the thumbnails context menu? You've promised to think about it... yes, a bit more than a year ago... It is still not critical issue, but adding this entry is supposed to be useful for many users.

I'm rather avoiding adding new features to HyperSnap now, unless several people ask me for it. I rather get more complains about too many features in the product, it being too complex to learn and use effectively...
You may just as well press Alt+X keys, a shortcut for File/Explore, and Windows Explorer pops up on the folder where the current image is. You may easily delete, rename, copy files from there...
