feature request: grid lines and ruler

While putting together several clips to a complete image I had trouble adjusting some of the parts.

Is it possible to provide a ruler and adjustable gridlines as in Micorosoft PowerPoint?

    Not in the current version, but I will consider this for a future enhancement.

    I keep HyperSnap in maintenance mode (fixing bugs mainly), not adding any more features. The Windows programming mode is going away towards something completely different now (Microsoft is changing names, "Metro style apps", "Modern apps", WinRT apps etc.), more similar to app development for Android or iOS (Apple) devices, than the old "Win32 API" which HyperSnap uses. Maybe someone created or will create a product similar HyperSnap in the more limited environment of WinRT apps, but it won't be me...
