Apple loses place in books

Has anyone else experienced opening the app and it no longer has the reading list you made before or if it does still have the books they're listed it loses its place where it was last reading from? This is very frustrating and it is hard to find where I was in the entire novel after it loses its place.

This usually happens if you are using a 3rd party "cleaner" app, which is supposed to delete "junk" files from your device to free storage. One such app is named CleanMaster, there are many more like it in Google Play. If you use such app, you may usually configure it to leave @Voice folders and files intact, through its "Settings" screens.

Owners of Samsung devices may have this problem too, if they use the "Smart Manager" app that comes aboard with Android on Galaxy phones (maybe tablets too).
This app is powered by "Clean Master" and also removes your voice editions. It is possible to leave @Voice out of the App Optimization list (on my phone, only WhatsApp was automaticaly left off).
It blanked my Voice Editions when I first used it. Luckly I had backed up my edtions.

Thank you for telling us about this, Thiago! I did not know, it's been a while since I last had a Samsung Galaxy phone... Bad news for me and my users too, there will be more complains like the above...
