Does HyperSnap have cross hatching yet?

Hi,
I'm an old user on version 6. Can you tell me if HyperSnap in version 8 now has the ability to cross hatch an area? What I'd like is to be able to delineate an area, then tell it what color and maybe what line width to use, and maybe what angle. I'd like to be able to write over the area or mark it transparently, like it does now (ahem! (ver 6)) for text printing - I can either set the background color, or tell it to print on top of whatever is already there.
