Cursor is being captured even with capture cursor disabled

I am a long time user.  I upgraded to the latest, running Windows 10/64.
If the mouse is in the capture area, I am getting it with Window Capture.  I have been forced to pay attention and move the mouse out of the way before capturing a window.

In most cases, I use Ctrl-W

I have enabled it, disabled it, selected Apply, tried it in Settings, Etc.  I get the mouse cursor every time that the mouse is in the Window.

I had a similar issue with another user. Apparently it's an issue with the graphics card driver - the one you have captures cursor no matter what are my settings. See if the configuration utility which comes with your graphics card and drivers has an extra setting for capturing cursor, I cannot control such custom, manufacturer dependent setting.

    +1 (1)
Same laptop for years and thus the same graphics card for years.  After a few too many trials to find out what was going on... I applied a few glasses of wine...

Turns out that I had enabled Mouse Trails set at just the first setting.  Once I disabled mouse trails, the problem went away.  YAY!

Oh, that's good to know, Joe, thank you. An interesting discovery! Send me a bottle of that wine too! :)
