hypersnap 32 vs 64,will both always co-exist?

32 vs 64
will both always be produced, or will 32 go by the wayside?
reason for asking is that scanner drivers have twain in 32 but some don't have in 64, and there are more features/settings showing in some of the twain drivers, and i need those features, so running hsnap 32 may make more sense.

most scanners seem to be going to wia drivers, and when using them, i do a scan, and the scanner windows then disapear, and when i re-select to scan, the wia window comes up, and i have to re-set all the scanning parameters (greyscale versus color, DPI, etc)

thanks

also, as addendum, even though I subscribe to a thread, i don't get email notification (past couple months)
thanks

For now I plan to continue building both 32-bit and 64-bit versions as needed.

i  will  switch back to the 32 bit (it worked well) since I can access the twain driver for the scanner)
