hypersnap portable, different file versions when installing to win 7 and win 10?

greg,
back to the batch startup.
my batch startup line works
but only if I first install the hypersnap portable to the specific machine.
Iif I COPY the portable directory, from win 10 to win 7, and vice versa, the batch file line doesn't work, but the program icon does not.

I can LIVE with that, till I get all machines to win 10

BUT, see attachments.
SAME install file, gives different file dates for the files inside the directory?
one install gives 08/2014, and a copy gives 06/2014, for the DLL files?
am I doing something wrong?

    Hi,
I'm not sure what exactly you did, but the screen captures of your folders have both x32 and x64 folders in the same directory. This suggests that you e.g. copied first the 32-bit HyperSnap 8 files to that directory, and then copied 64-bit to the same directory, effectively overwriting the 32-bit files with 64-bit (or could be the other way round). If you want to have 32 and 64-bit versions on the same machine, they have to be installed into different directories.

if I click hypersnap on each of these machines, from that directory they show as 64 bit.
but the dates of the files in each directory are  different.

I will clean out the directories and  start again
