HS8, 32 and 64, can both be installed?

HS8, 32 and 64, can both be installed?

can HS8 32 and HS8 64 both be installed on same machine?
 
can both be installed on same USB portable stick?
 
I primarily use 32, because if I install it, and also carry with me, it works on some of the 32 bit old machines I have.
 
but I'd like to use 64 more, because it has larger file capability.
 
 
I would only run one instance - EITHER 32 or 64, but want to be able to have both installed.

    Yes, you may install both, just make sure to select different directories to install each version to. In that case it does not matter if you install them normally, or in portable manner on a USB stick. You may even start both at once, if you give each one a command line parameter:
     
            -newwin
