Quick Save Bug in Hypersnap 8.03.00 (32bit)

Hypersnap 8.03.00 (32 bit) seems to have a problem when the quick save folder is located in the same folder as the application.  It appears to save the capture properly, but when I view the quick save folder with Windows Explorer the captures are not there.  However, when I open that folder to load a file from within Hypersnap the captures are there!  Windows search finds the files (search for "snap*"), but they cannot be viewed when clicked on (missing shortcut error).  I'm running Win7 Home 32-bit.

I created a new quick save folder outside the application folder (on the desktop) and all works fine.  I can see all the new captures with Windows Explorer as expected.  I was able to repeat the problem when I put the quick save folder back into the application folder.

I checked for the same issue using Hypersnap 8.03.00 (64 bit) on Win7 Pro 64-bit and could not duplicate the problem.  It didn't mater if the quick save folder was in the application folder or not.

I'm not even sure how you did this - the application folder in normal Windows setup is not writable for user data. Unless you run HyperSnap in Administrator mode (not recommended) or installed the app to a non-standard location? Anyway, will try to test this and see what happens. Thanks!

Yes, I run everything as administrator.  I know that's probably not such a good idea.

I tried to reproduce it, but with HyperSnap 8 running from a normal folder, not the one protected from writing in C:\Program Files\... There was no problem with that setup. Then as a regular user, but HyperSnap 8 running from the protected folder - HyperSnap 8 did not let me choose that folder for Quick Save operation, which was also correct. Finally I started HyperSnap 8 from the protected folder as Administrator user, it then allowed me to do Quick Save there, no problems. The files were saved and I could read them normally. Not sure if there is any bug to fix...
