Creating a New Stamp

Hello Support,
 
I've followed the instructions from the "Creating Markers ..." tutorial found in another area of the Support site, but I'm unable to get it to work in HyperSnap 8.
 
I create the image using the Circle tool, use the Image > Auto Trim function and am left with just the circle I've created.  I click the Stamps button > New Stamp > From Selection and the circle I've created doesn't appear in the Image tab.  I've tried it when the circle is selected and has the control outline around it and when it's not selected - same problem.
 
Please advise how I may create a new stamp!
