I just update from 7.28.00 to latest auto-proposed update to 7.28.01 release It installation is running trouble free, but HS does not start anymore, also after a reboot. I try download the latest 7.28.01 from website, same story, does not work anymore Do you have other feedback reporting this strange reaction. I run a Vista 64bit Thanks Jean

Do you see any kind of error message? If so, what exactly does it say? Greg

Hello Greg, No, I does not received any kind of error message, the normal application window is just not coming up. If a have a system look with Process Explorer, HprSnap is visible at double clic, but does not stay on. I install back HS release 7.28.00 without any trouble. Just a related question, is it possible to find back previous release of HS on your website? Have a good day Thanks

Same problem here. Auto-updated, installation seemed to run just fine, however upon program start, HS crashed and continues to crash and will not start nor run since this update. Must revert back, but no time at the moment.

Hm. Looks like some strange problem on Vista only... I tested on WinXP, Win7 and Win8, all works fine. Any chance you could uninstall current HyperSnap 7.28.01 from your computers, reboot the computer, then install again the latest version of HyperSnap 7 and let me know the result? Just in case it still does not work, I put back the version 7.28.00 on my server for you to download and use until we figure out what the problem is. The link to download it is: http://www.hyperionics.com/downloads/hs7.28.00/HS7Setup.exe Greg

Ugh. The uninstaller crashed because in order to uninstall, the program must actually run, even for a brief moment. Because it crashed and died upon uninstall, this looks to be a manual registry deal that at the moment, I can't wrap my head around. Plus, being I have both HS6 & HS7 on the same machine (though never running at the same time), manual registry removal will require special attention, as in, no auto-removal of all "HS" related data. Did I say "ugh"? Will reboot, reinstall and see what happens.

By the way, shoot me an email with the latest release so I can run a test on Vista before public release, if you like.
