Licensing

Hello - we have installed Hypersnap 7 on a terminal server with an updated current license. It was installed correct to select for all user and in installation mode. We never had this problem with Hypersnap 6 but with hypersnap 7 when one of our user's uses the software via a thin client it prompts them that the program isn't registered or licensed. They shouldn't have to apply the license on there end. Any ideas or resolution? We've uninstalled and reinstalled several times...etc. Thanks.

One solution to that would be to put the license file, HprSnap7.hs7lic, as a regular ASCII text file and containing the text block with your license (the text between ### lines in the email we sent you) to the same folder where HprSnap7.exe is installed and from which the user starts it. The program looks for the license file in this folder, and then also in the registry, takes whatever it finds first. This way, anyone running the software from this location will "see" the software licensed without entering the license separately on each client.
