Arrows from templates

I would like to have easy to use arrows from a sample-window to choose which can be edited easily. The current version does not allow to modify the arrow's shaft except using the five line widths.

Please note: on the "Edit" tab of the ribbon, you may click the arrow button to select the arrow drawing tool, or the down pointing triangle next to that button. As you click that triangle, you may select one of several arrow kinds. There is also a "Settings" button below these arrow types. Click it, and you may set arrowhead length and width. Greg

Thank you, I know, but as I said: The current version does not allow to modify the arrow's shaft. This shaft is much too thin for the big arrowhead.

You may set line width for all shapes you draw with the big "Line style" button in the Edit tab of the ribbon. Greg

Well, I know, but how much line widths do you see? I'm seeing five, and they are not editable. And the thickest is even too small for a decent arrow. That's why I asked for an editable line width for the arrow shaft. Why is the editing functionality limited to the arrow head? Mr. Duntze told me that there is a workaround. I created a picture of an arrow in Power Point, exported it to png and imported it in HS7. Then I can transform the arrow to the size I want. The following picture shows the thickest arrowshaft-line of the five presets. Not very attractive.

OK, I'll consider adding more line widths in the next release of HyperSnap 7. Greg

Can you consider to make the line-wdths editable like in Photoshop?

Yes, I'll probably do something like this. In the meantime, if you need an arrow with a wider shaft, you could draw our regular arrow, then draw e.g. two wide lines very close to the shaft and pararell to it to make them wider. Greg
