How do I change the pronunciation of a name with an apostrophe in it?

The TTS mispronounces names with apostrophes in them, for example S'yne should be pronounced as saɪn but is pronounced as siːn. How do I go about changing the phonetic pronunciation of words like these?

    You can change this under @Voice Settings menu - Edit speech.

    You can change this under @Voice Settings menu - Edit speech.


    I've tried but it ignores all changes - phonetic, case match, case sensitive, case insensitive. It keeps mispronouncing it no matter how I change it.

    Try to replace "S'yne" with maybe "sain" or "saaeen" - experiment to see what works best. Every TTS engine will say such words and spelling alternatives differently.

    Is it possible to define different replacements depending on the TTS engine used (especially useful in combination with the text annotations to change voices between e.g. Google and Acapela voices)?

    I'm sorry, the replacements are language specific only. If you have @Voice Premium License, you could add tags to replacements, like "Google" and "Acapela" and turn them on or off by tags.
