What I like about HS8 and what I miss there

I have just purchased HyperSnap 8 and I would like you to know why.
There are many things that you do right (and one that you don't):
I can capture any number of snapshots and they wait for me in the editor. I don't have to deal with them right away or have them waiting auto-saved in a folder.
When I am done editing snapshots, I don't have to save them one by one, but I can use SAVE ALL (That's not common at all!)
When I restart the program, it recalls the colors, the line width and the fonts and I believe also the file format for saving that I used the last time which helps the repeated workflow tremendously!!!
The options for elements such as lines (e.g. color, width) are available right from the toolbar. You don't have to click somewhere to get access to it (well, I put all my buttons on one ribbon tab so perhaps this may not be true for those users who stay with the default ribbon).
One bad evolution from version 6 though: you could set the width of the line by clicking the toolbar button. With the ribbon button, you need to click and select from the menu. This is slower.
You allow very good customization of ribbon and even allow the user to switch to the previous version of UI - toolbars. IMO Ribbon is a very bad UI design idea that's a poor derivation of context-toolbars that existed as far as I remember at least 10 years before MS presented its ribbon as a UI revolution (LOL, LOL, LOL), but the level of user-customization that you allow for your ribbon makes even ribbon bearable (not good, but bearable).
HyperSnap is very fast to start and work with and it can even be used as a small image editor. Currently you even have a sort of layers to work with, which is very good indeed.
The high level of user customization that you allow all over the app should be a standard not an exception.
I am glad to see that you keep TextSnap though it may not work perfectly as you properly announce in a first-use-message.
There is one thing that you don't do well though and that's arrows. Firstly there is no need for rotation gizmo. Rotating the arrow this way is more difficult than simply moving the start/end points. But most importantly, you lack any form of non-straight arrows. That's bad. I would expect the Polyline to have an arrow at the start/end option. I also definitely miss curved arrows that can have user-defined number of control points along their length so we can create an "S" shaped arrow or an "M" shaped arrow easily. This is something that you seriously miss right now.
