Default file location

I'd like to be able to use SAVE ALL to save to a folder other than My Pictures but I don't see a way to change the default. When I save individual files, I can choose a folder. However, when I use SAVE ALL there's no prompt for a folder. Is there a place to specify a different default folder?  I'm on version 8.16.16.

HyperSnap always saves images by default to the folder you used last time for saving or opening a file. If you want "Save All" to save to some other folder, use File/Save As function to save one file to that different folder, then Save All will also save there from now on, until you use Save As to select a different location.

Thanks - that's the procedure I've used for years, but a few months ago it stopped working. Now even though I save a single file to the folder I want, when I then choose Save All to save the rest, they wind up in My Pictures.

    Hello Kathym,
go to Capture - Capture Settings - Quick Save. Press F1. The manual will show you how to set a default for saving files and some more parameters and options.
    Hope it helps
