Okay so I completely wiped Firefox - all addons, cache and everything all gone. Fresh install latest Firefox 64-bit.

I also reinstalled Hypersnap 64 bit again.

Readded the Firefox extension.

Same problem

Where and how is HyperSnap installed on your computer? Did you maybe select the "portable" option to install it? Anything else unusual? Also on which version of Windows exactly does this happen?

Please verify and tell me if the following registry key exists and what is the (Default) value of it:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Mozilla\NativeMessagingHosts\snapff

Then go into the directory that this path indicates and tell me if snapff.json and snapff.exe files exist there. If that registry key and value did not exist, open Windows Command Prompt, change to the directory where HyperSnap is installed (where HprSnap8.exe is located) and see if snapff.exe and snapff.json are found there. If both are there, run snapff.exe from command prompt, then refresh RegEdit window and check if the above key and value exist and are correct.

If snapff.exe is not there, maybe something (an anti-virus? some other security product?) is deleting it, maybe having a false positive error on it.
