english words like "sat" (past tense of to sit) automatically replaced with "Saturday"

so i switched back to English text, a few days ago, after several weeks of listening stuff in Russian and now i noticed that this app started to automatically replace normal words in the middle of a sentence with Day of the week.
the most common of these examples is the word "sat" as in the past tense of "to sit"
e.g. in a sentence like "he finished after her, who had sat there patiently waiting after her single sandwich".
the program reads me .... , who hat Saturday there patiently waiting...
every time this form of this word is used. there is no punctuation after sat to indicate it to be a shortened version -- "sat."
also the program reads all strings of numbers that are separated by a : as a time variation. "05:10" will be read as 5 hours 10 minutes, how ever in the context of the sentence it would be 5 to 10 as in a game score. but when its actually time remaining as in countdown-- "23:59:58" remaining -- it will read only part of it. 59 minutes 58 seconds and skips the hours..

how can i generally turn off all or some of the automatic conversions that this program does? Date/Time, Mass, Speed and some fractions?

Which Text-to-speech voice, exactly, are you using when this happens? Also, do you have any speech replacements defined under @Voice Settings menu - Edit speech?

FYI, the app does not do any of the stuff you described, unless you defined them as speech replacements (Settings - Edit speech menu). Otherwise, your TTS voice does it. Select a different voice, or go to this voice settings and adjust the options there. But please, tell me exactly the brand name of the TTS engine, and this voice name, as I cannot reproduce any of these errors, yet more and more users complain about such problems. If I knew which voice does this, I could advise users how to adjust that voice settings, or to avoid that voice, or file a complaint about a bug to the people/company who make it...

sorry, forgot to include that information in my original post

i use Samsung Galaxy S7 with "Google, United Kingdom, en-GB-language". in Google TTS Options it's Voice 1. Female.
i use downloaded version, no internet connection. Intonation Expressive.
no changes of Number processing is on or off.
i have a LOT of "edits" active, however i have only 2 that have the word "sat" in it - "was sat", "were sat". both change to "was sitting" and "were sitting"

Indeed!!! I set the same voice, "Google, United Kingdom, en-GB-language", and now it reads "He sat in a chair." as "He Saturday in a chair." Those idiot Googlers, why do they break products like then, and then I get a beating for them??? This seems to be happening with all United Kingdom voices from Google. Please file complain with them, maybe in the product review? I'll do the same.
Set any Google voice modelling United States, Australian or Indian voices, and they read "sat" normally, but UK voices have this bug. Or try any other TTS product from any other company but Google, and they will work correctly...

its just that your response time is muuuch faster than anything from google :)

    thanks again for your work!

Thank you, I posted the following review to Google TTS product page on Google Play - anyone reading this and caring about this issue, please post something similar...

There is currently an error in all English voices for "United Kingdom" region - they read many words as if they were abbreviations, even not followed by a dot. For example: "He sat on a chair." is read by the British voices of Google TTS as "He Saturday on a chair.
