PDF document name doesn't show

PDF document name doesn't show

Many of the PDFs, when viewed in Voice Aloud, show as "Author - ??.pdf instead of the actual filename. This makes it very difficult to figure out document is which. Not sure why this happens or why it doesn't happen on all. It's possible that only the files I've transferred from Google Drive do this.
 
Any suggestions or solutions?

    Actually @Voice app does show the file names. When you share a file from Google Drive, it is probably not telling me what the original file name is, just sends me the binary contents of the file, which I have to download and save, choose some file name for it. In case of a PDF file, I read the file metadata and use the 'title' field as defined in it. If title is not present, I use Author + Creator fields. Don't know what else could I do.

    Okay that makes sense. I just realized there's a way to rename them in VA, so I can work around it.
