How to combine two JPGs into one JPG

How can I combine two JPG files into one?

    Open both in HyperSnap, copy one of them, switch to another image. Click the down pointing triangle next to the Paste button on top of HyperSnap window, and select from the drop-down menu e.g. "Paste at right", "Paste at bottom" or whatever fits best your needs. Then save the image as JPEG or any other format you need.
