HyperSnap not working after Win10 update

Hi.

I am running Win10 Pro 1709 OS Build 16299.461.

Have had HyperSnap on this system for several years and never had a single issue until recently, after installing 2018-05 Cumulative Update for Win10 V 1709 for x64-based Systems (KB4103714).

HyperSnap version 8.16.06 seems to not install properly and will not run after this Win10 update. However, version 8.11.03 does install and run properly.

    The only guess I can offer is that some security product (anti-virus or similar) has a false positive error on the latest version of HyperSnap and is deleting it or putting into quarantine. Please examine the A-V logs, quarantine or whatever it offers. Either tell this product that HyperSnap is safe, or wait for an update of a-v database from their manufacturer, where the problem is fixed.

    Thanks. Its not generating any AV response whatsoever; not in logs or anywhere else. I run the stock Windows Defender and Malwarebytes and nothing else.
