Volume bug

Hi, there's a really annoying bug with @Voice Aloud Reader, when immediately passing the voice control between articles in the queue or with another app, the volume is suddenly set to maximum level. I can revert the loudness level to volume set by system mixer by just pausing and resuming the reading but till then the phone is extremely disturbing. Please do something with it, thx.

Btw. your mail at atVoice@hyperionics.com isnot working too. Do with it something too, or remove it.

    I cannot reproduce this bug on any device or emulator I use for testing or my own listening, and don't have similar complains from other users... Please first check in @Voice app under menu - Settings - Speech settings - at the bottom under "Choose the audio stream for speech output" header. What is selected there? If something else, restore the default selection, which is "Music (default)" and test again. Another thing to try would be to select a different TTS voice and check if it also does this (expand the bottom control panel in @Voice app by pressing the round button at bottom right, then press “Change voice or language” button.)
     
    If it still does not correctly, try also rebooting the device, test. If the bug persists, must be some error in LineageOS.
     
    Also, the atVoice@hyperionics.com email address works fine. Just tested it sending myself email from a google account, and I also receive dozens of emails daily under that address from other users. Maybe you misspelled it?

    Stream is Music. The issue is happening with all voices (VocalizerEx and GoogleTTS). This problem persists over many reboots so it can't be it.
    I use ViPER Atmos Sony Beats as sound FX instead default AudioFX but can't change it to default because AAC playback is broken then.
    All other apps obey the volume settings tho.

    The only case where I would adjust the volume at all, other than actively using the Volume slider in @Voice app bottom control panel, is if you enabled "Allow background music" option on the "Speech settings" screen, and actually was playing background music while listening to @Voice reading articles. I assume this is not the case either, so something else beyond my control is changing volume - maybe the TTS engine for example. Sorry that I can't help more.
