Pasting...

Hi, all!

I've just updated to 08.13.01 64-bit and everything I paste jumps to the upper left corner. Is there a way to fix this?

Thanks!

Not sure if I understand the problem correctly. Please try to reboot your computer first, then try again. If this does not help, describe the problem in detail.

Sorry- I've had too much work and had to revert to an older version.  I will try reinstalling it as soon as I can.

What I am doing is taking elements from one screenshot and pasting on another. Think showing before and after in one screenshot. I want to show all the steps for the solution at one time instead of several screens. What I normally do is use the 'rectangular selection' tool, hit ctrl-c to copy. I then move to the other screenshot and hit ctrl-v to paste. It normally pastes to the exact spot I copied it from so it blends perfectly, but now everything goes to the upper left corner and I have to drag it back to where I want it.

    I hope this makes sense.

You can mark selection area on the target image, then paste - it will go to top left corner of selection. I had to change this as other users had problem with the way it worked before.

That is unfortunate. I will have to let my people know that they should not update. It is to difficult to match the section perfectly and it wastes a lot of time.

Thanks for your response. I still love Hypersnap!

I understand. I have been using Hypersnap I think since 2009 and you have always been super great!
