Sounds Played w Hypersnap Actions - capture, print, etc don't work; cannot b reset 2 work

Before a recent Windows 7 64-bit update I had customized my sound scheme, for example so I would hear a sound when "quick copy/quick print" was successful; also had toggle keys turned on all the time so I always heard a sound when "CAPS LOCK KEY - ON" and "CAPS LOCK KEY - OFF."

The customized sound scheme including these sound cues can be seen, but some of the matches, e.g. for Hypersnap Quick Print, for "Caps Lock" ON and "Caps Lock OFF" no longer work even though the pairings are shown in the sound table list.
The Microsoft suggestion was to choose the "default sound list" , restart the computer, then to reselect the "customized sounds list", to restart the computer again which should have resulted in "Quick Print" "CAPS on" and "Caps Off" again being active, but they aren't.
Have exhausted the store of knowledge in my little brain, and wondered if any forum members have a fix, patch, work around, or if you have encountered the same problem and solved it?

Thanks

I don't have any code in HyperSnap to specifically support or stop these sounds. In fact I never tried to configure Windows to make such sounds for specific apps. Whatever it is, must be an issue with Windows system, not my code.
