Quick Access Toolbar - In Hypersnap 8

1) When I go to "More Commands" in the Quick Access Toolbar and add a "Separator" between buttons - it hardly shows (very faint)  --> (I am showing the Quick Access Toolbar below the Ribbon - Above the ribbon they do show better because of the darker background)
I was hoping the "Separators" would show up better similar to MS Office  Quick Access Toolbar
 
2) If I go back to "More Commands" to add buttons all "Separators" are gone.
 
Am I doing something wrong?

The separators are more visible with some other skins, but I see that the library provider designed them to save as much space as possible, so they are very thin. The disappearance of separators upon next edit is a bug in the underlying library software I'm using, I guess... They are easy to add back though.
