question, context menu,
this Is in TASK SCHEDULER, and it starts the pORTABLE edition of HyperSnap
I use this on main machine, and emergency machine; it is easier to keep all parameters the same
"C:\PortableApps_suite\PortableApps\HyperSnap 8\HprSnap8.exe" -open "C:\PortableApps_Suite\PortableApps\HyperSnap 8\hSnap_OPening_Message.jpg"
this does start the program (and an initial graphic that I desire)
BUT, once running, there is no way to drag files such as .JPG, into hypersnap. I get the circle with a line in it (prohibited)
IS there a way to add this to the context menu for windows, so that the PORTABLE edition of HyperSnap will allow JPG files (or others, if I add them) to be dragged into hypersnap and have them open?
thanks
nick
OR,
if not able -
if I install the MAIN program - and I set up its settings, etc -
Is there a way to copy the REGISTRY settings, to an INI file, so the setting s of the main machine will match the EMERGENCY machine?
I know how to use the INI files, but the program is getting too complex; I'd like to just let the registry handle the settings, and then create a registry export from Main machine, to import to EMERGENCY machine (I am able to do such actions, not worried about blowing up machine)
and then save an INI file for the portable version, as same type settings
I'm just trying to get uniformity across the two machines, same menu whether I go from one to the other, etc
thanks
