The "auto-add this frame to all captured images" feature does not stay enabled

The "auto-add this frame to all captured images" feature does not stay enabled after a stop then start of hypersnap version 8.05.01 (64-bit).
 
Image -> Frame... -> "auto-add this frame to all captured images"

    As you did not state, WHEN the function is "lost", I assume, it is not active after restarting. The above link should help.
     
    If not, please describe with more detail, when frames are not added anymore.

    While I do understand you are a business and need to keep your customers happy, this solution is counter-intuitive.  Software is always complex these days.  When I play around with settings in an application, I understand the risks, so when it goes bad I say "That is the risk I took"  I don't say the software vendor is at fault.  There will always be people who can never own it when they do something wrong.  Catering to such people just does not work.  Now Hypersnap is more complex for no good reason.

    HS experienced over the year the exact opposite. People wanted it to be simple, everything should work as switched on or off. HS complied to it and the same people complained about options turned on / off, they turned on / off themselves. They just did not remember it the next time they tried to do something else and complained about these on/ off results.
    If you ever have time, take a look at the (complete long) changelog. You'll find several fixes where options - that should work until switched off - were removed again, as people "forgot" they switched it on / off.
     
    We try to make HS as simple as possible with a lot of options for experienced users. But the deeper you delve into the possibilities of HS the more you have to refer to the manual (esp. the last chapters) to get a grasp about what is hidden under the visible hood.
