Can't use Hypersnap 8 when running VPN

Can't use Hypersnap 8 when running VPN

Any thought on how I can use Hypersnap 8 when using my company's VPN? When connected to VPN and starting Hypersnap it just hangs. I have to disconnect from the VPN, start Hypersnap, then reconnect to the VPN. Must be Hypernap is checking a license or doing some other "phone home" routine when starting that the network won't allow. Thanks.

    It does check for a new version every few days, but it should not crash or stop the software, unless the VPN software is faulty. HyperSnap just downloads a small text file from my web server, which tells it what is the most current version. Such download, done in a background thread, cannot disrupt normal program running - unless the perfectly legal call to download a text file actually crashes due to a fault in VPN software.

    thanks - probably just have to remember to start HS 8 before starting the VPN - that will be a heck of a lot easier than trying to convince my IT folks that their VPN software is faulty :-).

    WaselPro VPN my favorite one a long time ago  It is compatible with all operating systems giving me strong VPN connection and encrypted tunnel for all transmitted data.
