Moved from XP to Windows 7 - Now Substitute Colors Doesn't Work

Went from XP to Windows 7. Running HyperSnap 7.29.06. Now the "Substitute Colors" won't work - can't pick old or new colors.

Any ideas?

Thanks!!

    Hi Larry,
    please check the following:
color picker in the "normal" color group - Edit-ribbon - works?
A capture is in the workspace of HyperSnap
    Choose Substitute.
    Click ADD
choose two VERY different colors. Does the color picker react at all? Can you move the crosshair over the screen? Are the selected colors inserted in the choice menu?
If two colors are selected, click on Opacity = 255.
Choose  a high tolerance, at least 10%.
    Does it work?
If not, how did you change to Windows 7. Update your PC directly or clean / new install or new PC
Might be, that changing the OS while keeping installed programs could cause errors.
Remove HyperSnap completely, even from registry. There are threads in the forum describing, how.
    Reboot PC
    Re-install HyperSnap
    Test again.

    Good luck
